The Sons of the Desert were
formed in 1995, and from humble beginnings they have become one of the most
sought after acts in the area. Featuring twin lead vocals, and a three-piece
horn section they play the classic Soul and Motown cuts of the sixties.
Featuring hits from artists like the Temptations, Otis Redding, and James Brown
plus music from the Blues Brothers and the Commitments soundtracks. The Sons
also show their versatility by including a smattering of perfect pop songs.
The Sons of the Desert have been voted best band by the readers of "Live
on Stage" magazine for the last four years. They have also been voted in
the top five of the same magazines "Personalities of the Year" for
the last three years.
The band can be booked direct, or through Hulls' two main entertainment
agencies.
The Sons are available for pubs, clubs, outdoor, private and corporate
functions, shopping centres, halls, and anywhere a good band is
